| Karen Bestwick, who is managing the site for Larwood & Village Surgeries in Worksop, Carlton-in-Lindrick and Langold (our first out-of-city Notts practice) came up with a few suggestions when we met last week. The need for clear instructions on how to enter opening times on the create- and edit-premises forms. ‘…entering times in the form 09:00’ has been added to both forms. An alert about the limits on document and image sizes for upload. This has been added, pointing out that documents bigger than 1 MB and images bigger than 100KB will not be uploaded and asking editors to contact us if larger uploads are needed. There was an error in the ‘Edit folder’ function that cancelled the home page setting. This has been corrected. Having the SAVE button above the editor window for page creation and editing was confusing. A second button has been added at the bottom of the page. Karen also asked if she could have control over the order of the buttons on the button-bar. I think the best solution for this is for us to set up each site’s button-bar as required, so if you want any of the fixed buttons moving please let me know. You can, of course, manage the order of the buttons created by your folders in the ‘Edit folder’ form. Thanks for all this, Karen – nothing like a fresh eye! |
