| Derby Road Health Centre have also come up with another interesting request: a link to https://access.e-mis.co.uk/. We have had a look at this, and I’m proposing to add another button which site editors can switch on and off as required (the default would be Off). The thinking behind this is that patients can only use Access EMIS to book and cancel appointments if they have signed up for this service, so the button could take them straight to https://access.e-mis.co.uk/. For those who haven’t signed up, you could create your own page explaining the advantages and working of the system. We’d appreciate an indication of how many other practices (if any) would be able to – and would wish to - use the system, and your reactions to the suggested way of handling this service. Apparently Access EMIS can also be used to request repeat prescriptions, so this would offer an alternative to the simple email system provided on Sites4Doctors. Again, your thoughts would be appreciated. |
