| Following my earlier email, we have now made the option to nominate a pharmacy for collection optional, with the usual YES/NO buttons on the ‘Edit site details’ form in the Site Management System. The system now works as follows: If your practice has more than one surgery, there are buttons of the form allowing patients to choose the surgery from which they wish to collect their prescriptions. If you have put in local repeat email addresses, the requests will be sent to the appropriate addresses – otherwise they will go to your one repeat prescription email address. If you wish, you can switch on the extra form field allowing patients to choose to collect direct from the pharmacy..By default this is turned off. I’ve checked the functionality on all sites that currently use the repeat prescription ordering system and this is working correctly for all. |
