| For some time I’ve found copying and pasting in the web-page editor a bit problematic, but I think I’ve finally found out why. It’s to do with security in recent versions of Internet Explorer… Our dear friends at Microsoft (!) seem obsessed with protecting us, and there is now an option to disable, enable or enable with a prompt the dragging and dropping and pasting of content into the Internet Explorer window. This is found in Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level. I’ve selected Enable, and suddenly the problem seems to have gone away. So if you’ve been having this problem, try the fix! |
